Tommy is a cute one-year old male Australian Shepherd/Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on March 16, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found him on State Route 7 south of New Matamoras Ohio (near Frontier High School). Tommy was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped. Tommy has a shiny tricolor medium-haired coat with a wavy texture, a long fluffy tail with a white tip on the end, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, a tan mask, a black button nose, a dusting of white on his muzzle, and large floppy ears which are fringed with curls. This little sweetheart has an affectionate, outgoing personality and adores attention. He was in love with HSOV Kennel Tech Madison Lee who spent time with him late in the afternoon on March 16th while he posed like a 'pro' for his Petfinder/Facebook/Adoptapet photos. Tommy hugged Madison and gave her some great puppy kisses as her reward for good behavior (smile). Tommy is a small boy who weighs 35 lbs. He walks fairly well on a leash. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Tommy will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tommy, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
