Hi! My name is Buddy Jones. After forty-plus years in Alaska my humans have decided to go back to the Lower Forty-Eight. Not me! Because I do not do well in hot temperatures. I do so much better in cooler temperatures, and I want to stay right here in the Great Land! So, I’m in search of new human trail buddies who love Alaska as much as I do. For the past seven or eight years my home has been with Ken and Francine living along Campbell Creek, in Midtown. Earlier in life I was a sled dog, so I do love to run. My owners keep me on a harness leash. It would be wonderful to have a fenced yard to run and run. Ken and I have spent years together on the Alaska trails. Twice I scared off moose that were charging Ken. Once I discouraged a more than curious black bear from edging any closer to our camp. I take care of my people, just like they take care of me.
